The AKC Canine Good Citizen Class teaches the skills needed to pass the AKC CGC test, and dogs are given the exam at the end of the course. The skills learned in this class help to produce a dog that is well-behaved in public, and are essential to any therapy work. Dogs that pass the exam receive certification through the American Kennel Club, and are eligible to take more advanced testing (Canine Good Citizen Advanced, and Canine Good Citizen Urban). Basic obedience skills are a prerequisite.
AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing is available as a stand-alone for dogs that already have the skills to pass the examination.
AKC FIT DOG is an exciting new offering designed to increase your dog’s flexibility, balance, strength and independent limb awareness. AKC titles can be earned for dogs that complete the course. There are 3 levels, including bronze, silver and gold.
Our Private Lessons include a treatment plan for problem behaviors, and can be conducted at a place of your choosing.

Training on the farm offers a unique advantage. The dogs in our program are exposed to sheep, donkeys, horses, cats, chickens and geese, helping teach them how to behave around a variety of species. Socialization is so important, and being able to expose your dog to a variety of animals, people, sounds and environments in a positive, controlled way is essential.
